WHY WE STARTED
RECCE ROUTES?
Hi I’m Alexander, I started Recce Routes because I took too long to discover the importance and benefits of doing a recce! I also wanted to open up Ultra running to those that wanted to run these iconic trails but breaking it down over several days.
A recce allows runners to understand where to push, where to take it easy but ultimately gives them the confidence and the best opportunity to give it their all on race day.
Whether you’ve got a race coming up and you’d like to familiarised yourself with the route, or you didn’t get into the race you wanted but still want to experience the trail or you fancy a trail running day out - then Recce Routes is here for you!
Recce Routes takes away the logistical hassle of baggage handling, arranging accommodation and transportation back to start on those point to point routes. Leaving you to focus on the running!
